Kroeger Backhoe Services/Boiler Works is our go to company for our acreage needs. We have hired them to haul gravel, remove dead trees and stumps, installation of our septic tank and field, water cistern, house hold plumbing and heating, and shop in floor heat. All their work is completed with professional results.

In 2005 I was developing my property to move my home here and that was the beginning of my experience with Kroeger backhoe services. Jake put in tireless hours of working on my property to get it ready and little did I know the day he got it finished he was supposed to be on his way to B.C. for a family wedding. It is that same dedication I have found when I started having business interaction with his son Tyson. Being a family business and from a small town I feel is part of what makes dealing with them so easy. I have dealt with them at my place of work, home, and family. They have been there when we needed them in the evenings, weekends, holidays. when you call, they respond in a reasonable amount of time and address your issues timely and professionally. It is the ease that I have found the best about the Kroeger family. Whenever I need furnace work, plumbing, backhoe service or even a quote to put in in floor heating or a boiler system…I don’t hesitate to call Tyson. My mother was even impressed with their work and I’ve known her most of my life and she doesn’t impress very easily… (she has a sense of humor too).

We used Kroeger Backhoe Services to develop our new yard site; driveway, septic system, trenching etc. They were very helpful in explaining what was all needed and the process to complete it. The work was completed in a timely matter and at a very reasonable rate. I would use their services again and would highly recommend them to others.

I contracted Tyson and his father to dig a basement, trench power lines and put in a septic field on my new home construction. It was the year of the flood which probably was the most challenging year for anyone doing excavation. The home builder (he was very fussy) who built the basement was very pleased with their work and commented “these guys knew what they were doing”. MB Hydro asked who trenched the electrical lines and when I told them who, without hesitation or even looking said it will be fine, based on past experience with Tyson and his father. My septic system has had no problems They even charged me less than what they said they would. Very pleased.

I always knew that I could rely on Tyson and Jake if I had a plumbing or heating emergency.  They would make time no matter what else they had going on.  They understand how big a problem it is to not have water or heat.  They never made me feel like it was inconvenient for them to be there, they just showed up and got things fixed.  I remember how hard they worked to replace our well pump when it suddenly died.  It wasn’t an easy fix, but they just kept on until it was done.  Thanks so much for that!
